”The General's locket is a miscellaneous item in Fallout Tactics.
Characteristics[]
A locket that was in General Simon Barnaky's possession. It is recovered by the warrior when he finds Barnaky's lobotomized corpse in Scott City. If kept in inventory until the end of game, the locket will be noticed by Simon Barnaky, who turns out to be alive and is Calculator's supporter. The locket will remind him of his wife, Maria Barnaky, and stops him from attacking the player, thus enabling an extra ending option.

An item named Barnaky's letter serves the same purpose as the General's locket. The only difference is that the dialog it triggers is slightly different.
