While capable of dealing a devastating amount of energy damage in a short period of time, the Laser Gatling needs a moment to "spin up" before it can be fired.

Background
A rotary laser cannon boasting four independent AER9 barrel assemblies, the Gatling laser is intended for suppression and elimination of the heaviest and most durable targets. Due to the excessive power consumption, this model of the Gatling is powered by a fusion core, granting 500 units of energy - more than enough to annihilate any foe.
Characteristics
Unlike its smaller cousins, the laser rifle and laser pistol, the Gatling laser requires a great deal more power at a higher rate of consumption to maintain its rate of fire. As such, the heavy weapon is fueled by the same fusion cores that drive infantry power armor.
With ranks in the Nuclear Physicist perk, the Gatling Laser can fire between 250 and 500 rounds before expending a Fusion core.
Crafting
With the Contraptions Workshop add-on, Gatling laser can be manufactured using a energy weapon forge.

Bugs
- fusion core is spent fueling power armor, the gatling laser will behave as if it has no ammo even if there are spare cores. When a
- While it does use fusion cores, should you choose to fire all 500 rounds of the core, upon reloading another core will not be used. Thus giving this gun infinite ammo.
- Should you switch from the Gatling Laser to another weapon, not only will the partially depleted core be dropped in your inventory, you will also find it does not use another core from your inventory when you pull it back out. This could be exploited to gain as many partially depleted fusion cores as you want.
