The fresh pear is a consumable item in Fallout: New Vegas.

Fresh pears retain the lack of radiation from Fallout 3 while healing Hit Points, and reducing Starvation and Dehydration in hardcore mode. They are also one of the ingredients in trail mix, alongside fresh apples, Sugar Bombs, and pinyon nuts.

  • Random Legion troops, from recruits to Decanii to Assassins, can spawn fresh pears in their inventory, alongside other wasteland foods.
  • Nine can be stolen from the food storage area behind the bar at The Atomic Wrangler.
  • They are occasionally found on the bodies of White Legs tribals in the Honest Hearts add-on.
