- Much to the fury of Desmond, both the dogs are killed when the Calvert Mansion explodes during the quest Thought Control.

Freki appears only in the Fallout 3 add-on Point Lookout.
Behind the scenes[]
- The names of the hounds are a reference to Norse Mythology. Odin was often portrayed as having two wolf companions named Freki and Geri. Freki roughly translates to "ravenous", Geri to "greedy".
