Franny Richardson was a spy prior to the Great War.
Background[]
Lover of Captain Arnold Wabash, Franny made the commander of USS Democracy fall in love with her head over heels. However, unbeknownst to him, she was actually a Chinese operative, aiming to secure the launch key for the Democracy's nuclear missiles. She worked on it for months, managing only to ensure that the submarine would never launch, as the Captain would prefer to disappear with her. Her chance came when the Great War began. Wabash went AWOL, stashing the key and meeting her at the safehouse in the Harbor Grand Hotel.[1]
She forced Wabash to divulge the location of the key at gun point and shooting off his toe in the process. It didn't matter that her mission no longer had any meaning, she was this close to success! Wabash finally gave in and revealed the key's location and the code needed to access it. However, he had the last laugh: He shot her in the back three times when she turned around to try and open the safe room.[2]
Appearances[]
Franny Richardson is mentioned only in the Fallout 4 add-on Far Harbor.
