Exactly what is the point of trying to hide the fact that some guns have similarities with real-world weapons? Do you really need a Bethesda spokesperson to tell you "right, this pistol is modeled of a small handheld firearm"? This Machine looks like a Garand, its sights are like the Garand's and as you may know, the M1 Garand makes a distinct ping when the last round is fired off (i could go into more detail there...) and guess what? This Machine makes the same sound under the same conditions! So why do we need officials to state the obvious? Can anyone actually make sense of this policy? Because all its really doing is being a pain-in-the-ass trivia filter. General Geers 20:37, April 19, 2011 (UTC)

Here's the original reason for the policy, it should explain why the policy is in place. --Anon talk 21:12, April 19, 2011 (UTC)
