Forums: Index > Wiki discussion > Good Lord How Do I get to the page history of my own talk page?
I've had to go to the contributions tab of a user who wrote on my page to call up the page history. I can't go on like this. Please help.--Gothemasticator 02:04, October 9, 2010 (UTC)
- Step 1: Switch back to the Monaco skin. I just took a look at my talk page in the new skin and I couldn't see a place to view the history either. Lame. --Kris 02:49, October 9, 2010 (UTC)
- Thanks. I'm gonna suffer through for a while, though. I'd like to figure out what all works and doesn't work with the new skin.--Gothemasticator 02:52, October 9, 2010 (UTC)
- When you're on your talk page, click the 'my tools' button and the link to the history should be there. Wikia must have added it very recently because I had the same problem yesterday and the link wasn't there. --Anon

02:58, October 9, 2010 (UTC)- So "tools" is a hover-drop-down menu and "my tools" is a click-drop-down menu. "Tools is at the top of the page and "my tools" is at the bottom of the page. I also lose the search bar on some pages. If you block a user the search bar is gone. And what's up with deleting a page kicking you back out to the home page? Grrrr...--Gothemasticator 03:08, October 9, 2010 (UTC)

- I'm glad someone has the patience to tolerate the new skin's early problems. I just hope that, since they're hell-bent on forcing this on us, that they at least fix these problems. --Kris 03:17, October 9, 2010 (UTC)
I removed the "Tools" menu from the top nav bar, since while my intent there was initially to make access to some things that are less accessible now easier, looks like it introduces even more confusion - best to just get used to using "My Tools" instead. Ausir(talk) 06:41, October 9, 2010 (UTC)
