I want a DLC in Arizona. I would also like one in Mexico. I also want one where you go into Space and go to where the Brights went. I want one in Utah. Tezzla CannonUser Tezzla Dog 18:51, November 20, 2010 (UTC)

Assuming the Brights didn't crash into a mountain, I'd say they wound up in Canada. (They flew North so I'm just guessing.) User:MoonshadowDark

I would like one in California, where you get to go to Los Angeles, I would like one where you get to continue after you beat the game. And I like the Arizona one. Freelance7 20:29, November 20, 2010 (UTC)

LA? Mere peanuts to my idea. I say we return...to Arroyo! See the flourishing city! Pay a visit to the Chosen One memorial! Wear a Vault 13 jumpsuit! lol I do have this awesome idea about Area 51. How about this: We open to a lone phone booth in the middle of a stretch of highway. It rings several times before a hand with a Pip Boy picks it up. A voice, low and gravely, beginds to speak... "Hello. I trust you know why you're here..." The booth begins to slowly sink into the ground. "What I am about to tell you sounds impossible. But trust me. I speak the truth..." The booth completely disappears and is revealed to be an elevator going down a long shaft. "There are secrets buried out in Nevada. Somethings left over from before the war..." The booth touches down and opens to a dimly lit hallway. "Things people have never seen..." Powerful plasma and energy weaponry lining a wall. "Creatures thought to be of myth..." A mutated horse runs around a cage and a Snow Guai reaches out from another cage to take a swipe at the player. "Even things...not of this world..." A dead Zeta Alien on an autopsy table with a Alien Blaster in a bowl next to it. "But I know you can survive all of this." The player walks into a dark room and is suspended into the air, hanging upside down. He attempts to reach his gun which has fallen to the floor beaneath him. He hears large footsteps heading toward him. A deathclaw emerges from the shadows and reaches out to the player, grasping him head. It leans in close, opens its mouth..and says, "I see you got my message." The scene cuts to the phone booth again as it rings...and rings...and rings... And then fade in the words "AREA 51" How does that sound? User:MoonshadowDark

MoonshadowDark, that has to be one of the best idea's i've heard for DLC, the area 51 one that it.

Anyway my idea is that the Courier goes back to the west coast, to NCR, the Shi and Lost Hills.

Different characters react differently to you, depending on the choices you made in the Mojave ( set after the second battle at hover dam). For example if you sided with NCR, you will be idolized there, but if you didnt you would be shunned. The BOS would simply hate your guts if you destroyed the Mojave chapter but if you joined them and convinced them to fight for NCR, you will be hailed as a hero.

The story for the DLC also depends on the choices you made in the Mojave. For example, House runs another mathematical paradigms based on current political and socioeconomic conditions and it predicts that a full blown BOS backed NCR re invasion is imminent and sends the Courier to prevent the invasion by any means nescessary. This would involve things like diplomacy or force. NCR's story is completely different along with the Leigons.

For example if you sided with the leigon, Ceaser ( or the Legate, the leader if Ceaser is dead) would send the Courier on a mission to inflitrate the West Coast.

I'd love to see one in the Hub or the Boneyard. They talk about the Hub constantly in the game. 70.179.38.132 16:27, November 21, 2010 (UTC)

An "'Operation Anchorage'"-esque combat flight simulator with the VR pods at Nellis Air Force Base. Fly one of those P-80s and shoot down some retro-futuristic MiGs. --GaussRifle 06:37, November 22, 2010 (UTC)

I don't think the Chinese would be cool with that. Though that would be one sweet ride... User: MoonshadowDark

They should go somewhere new, like another unused state or something. Like Utah. Go to the Salt Lake or something , cuz I'm getting tired of everyone saying "Let's go back to-" cuz thats just boring.

Moonshadow, why don't you work for Obsidian? That whole Area 51 one thing sounded perfect. Haha I've been bitching to my friend about them ignoring Area 51 since NV came out so obviously I would love to see that idea make it into a DLC. As for other DLCs, there isn't a whole hell of a lot that interests me around Nevada. A trip to New Reno would be ideal. The Courier, intrigued by this mysterious courier who seem to know him, heads up to New Reno to possibly find info on this guy. While there he gets caught up with the families there all in the pursuit of this mysterious man and what he knows about you. And if distance is not an issue I'd love to see what's going on in New York City or the Commonwealth. In NY I could definitely see something to do with Times Square and that New Year ball. Thanks! I also have this idea for DLC with Rita's Cafe. You see the billboards at the loading screen but there is no location of it on the map. My idea is like Cafe of Broken Dreams meets The Twilight Zone. I'm still trying to narrow the events down but here's a definate: The DLC is much more enlightening if you have the Wild Wasteland trait. As soon as I have a basic storyline, I'll put it up for all to read User: MoonshadowDark
Some sort of major Twilight zone reference is well overdue. Agent c 23:43, November 23, 2010 (UTC)
here is my idea for a new vegas Dlc i know the name is crappy

The lonely ranger   The courier gets a mysterious radio message saying that we need back up and is transmitting to all Desert rangers in Arizona. You travel to a new location and you get hit by the but stock of a gun in the head by a mysterious person. When you awake you r strapped to a chair and and you have a bag over your head. The person asks about the New Legions order. You respond by either saying I have no clue who your talking about or tell them u herd the message and came to investigate. The people apologize and take the bag off of you head the explain that they are the Remnants of The Desert rangers that didn't join the NCR. They also tell you about the New legion order which is a huge group of legionaries that quit the legion and acquired new armor weapons and such and how they are a huge threat to the rest of the wasteland. You get recruited into the ranks of the desert rangers and you begin as a rookie. You start  with the armor I developed and showed in the picture and a unique weapon the scoped m14 as you do missions for the   Desert rangers you get promoted and you get more unique armor and weapons when you get promoted to the highest rank you are tasked to plant c4 into the new legions orders primary base. you plant the C4 in various places and you then assassinate the leader of the new legion and quickly escape and blow up the whole base. Congratulations u beat the main story of the dlc and you can still Roam around the Arizona wasteland and do side quests when u leave and go back to the Mohave wasteland there are various desert rangers wandering around and new bases and weapons in new vegas. You can also help upgrade there bases which make physical changes to the and you can do new missions for the various outposts. That's it in a nut shell and that wasn't going into a lot of detail about all the quests. As you get promoted in the ranks of the desert rangers you unlock new unique armor and weapons But all of the ranked armor and weapons have certain benefits  for different play styles like the recruit it a scout sniper the commander is a assault person etc. And when you return to the Mojave wasteland you will see different ranked desert rangers patrolling (they will have different gear depending on their rank) around and at bases. The will fight the gangs and the legion. So don't be surprised if u see the desert rangers fighting the legion. The various stores (especially the gun runners will have the new ammo that the guns use) at one of the desert ranger bases/outposts there will beca armorer that sells mods for the new weapons like a silencer or upgraded  stock for the scoped m14 etc. He/she will also pay you double what normal traded do for legion armor. Overall the dlc will provide a new area the size of point lookout to explore in Arizona, new quests,a ton of new weapons and armor and a new faction in the Mojave wasteland to interact with.

I know some parts are strange but obsidian can fix that if they will ever use something like this

Rookie Desert Ranger
I have said it before but all you 12 year old noobs don't listen it will be more Van Buren..starring the courier or someone else in Utah.

I want Santa in the new dlc lol too many noobs

I one hundred person would die to see the lonely ranger dlc above. it is and excellent idea and it would be a great change to have a group that is like the ncr but not as by the book about it all. to add on to it i think it would be cool if they had spies and double agents in the ranks of the ncr rangers. i also would like to see a battle between the arizona rangers and the new legion instead of a covert style mission but either would make me happy.

I Like the ideas above, i have two of my own. The fist one, Nellis contact you sayin they have a suprise etc. so you go to nellis, cutscene opens as you walk through the gates. you see a jumbo jet come out of one of the hangers, adn then you fly to somewhere else on the planet (not sure where). my other idea is that you enter a simulator of some kind and re-live bitter springs to find out the whole truth, you are Boone's partner in his memory (dont say so youre manny then, no youre not cause manny pulled a sicky so he didnt have to go to bitter springs). both would add new weapons to the game aswell as some old favriouts like the 'chinese assault rifle' some new snipers, etc havent really thought of the missions etc. just a base
