Hope this is not something well-known that I just missed. :)
Have you noticed that Chris Jones (Fallout, Fallout 2 and Fallout: New Vegas developer, CTO and co-founder of Obsidian Entertainment) is mentioned twice in Fallout 2 credits? First as a programmer and second as an intern artist. Thats quite uncommon when a person who were a lead programmer during the development of the first Fallout suddenly decides to become an intern artist for the sequel (and still a programmer), isn't it? :) And IIRC we've never heard of any other Fallout art by Chris.
I've found a profile on LinkedIn, it's private so don't know of the link would be of any help. My search criteria were Chris as first name, Black Isle Studios as a company (current or past) and US as location. This one was the only one found. No name, no links but the current position is Game Development Consultant at Jones3d.
Jones3d itself has a title Online Blog & Art of Christopher Jones. There is a resume there (name - Christopher G. Jones) with no reference to Obsidian or any programming at all. There is also a page full of Fallout 2 death animations. :) There are two Chrises Joneses. :)
