Food paste is a consumable in Fallout 4.
Background[]
Formulated and produced by the Vault-Tec Corporation in conjunction with the United States government, this food substitute was put through a trial run in the Suffolk County Charter School. The paste was intended to provide sufficient vitamins, minerals and macronutrients and have a shelf life over 100 years.[1] Furthermore, it allegedly tastes delicious, but is apparently addictive and causes raiders to display even more extreme aggression after extensive consumption.[2] Long term consumption would also give the complexion of the consumer a pinkish hue.[3]
Characteristics[]
This odd pink paste restores 50 hit points over ten seconds and raises one's Endurance by 1 for one hour.
Locations[]
- Ten dishes of food paste can be found throughout Suffolk County Charter School, and an additional nine may be bought from the book return terminal in the school library.
- A few can be found on a dead raider in a random encounter somewhere in the Commonwealth.

The student base of this school consisted mostly of lower-income and disadvantaged students. These children were lucky enough to be chosen for trials of a new food substitute paste developed by Vault-Tec in conjunction with the U.S. government. The paste was intended to provide all necessary nutrition and have a shelf life of over 100 years. Despite some minor side effects, the paste is both nutritious and delicious. Why not try some yourself? You’ll be in the pink!"
