Food additive is a miscellaneous item in Fallout: New Vegas.
Characteristics[]
Extracted from Spore plant pods, a chemical in the pods acts as a mild stimulant, with no side effects visible when ingested by humans.
It is a food additive meant to be given to Cpl. William Farber in Camp McCarran as part of the quest, Poor Meat Never Makes Good Soup.
Location[]
It is found in Vault 22. When exiting the elevator on the Food Production level, make your way down the main hallway and enter the last hallway on the left before the main hallway turns right. Enter the first room on the left and walk to the back where there is a small office-like room with spores growing in front of the desk. The food additive is sitting on the top of the desk, it has no weight.
Bugs[]
- The food additive will remain in your inventory once you trigger the speech option with Cpl. William Farber, but this small controversy can easily be solved in the PC command console by typing setquestobject 000efae0 0.
