| |||||||||
Firehose box is a common type of container in Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas.
Overview[]
A standard fire service box containing a hose, nozzle, and a valve providing high pressure water for fighting fires. Two centuries of decay and deterioration resulted in no water pressure, making these useless, except as a source of nozzles and whatever might be hidden inside.
As such, firehose boxes cannot be used to regain health by drinking water. Furthermore, while the hose is visible inside, they are not included as an inventory item.
Contents[]
Fallout 3[]
- Firehose boxes contain miscellaneous items, the most common being firehose nozzles.
- The box that forms a part of the Grady's Package quest holds Grady's safe key.
Fallout: New Vegas[]
- Firehose boxes typically contain a firehose nozzle and a piece of scrap metal.
- After Dead Money and the associated patch firehose boxes carry a more random assortment of miscellanous items and even melee weapons such as tire iron, though these may replace the nozzles.
