The Big Book of Science is a science book found across the Fallout series.

Background[]

The premier book for general science, the Big Book of Science was originally issued as a set of books covering different topics, before being consolidated into a single, large tome that was adopted as the basis of curriculums across schools (and Vaults) in the United States. The hefty single volume edition had a grand total of over 1000 pages![1]

Behind the scenes[]

The design of the single-volume edition is most likely a reference to Physics, a modern approach by L. Paul Elliott and William F. Wilcox"; © Macmillan Co.; January 29, 1957. See [1] for a comparison (unfortunately a picture reference can only be found on a Russian site, about the Russian edition of this book).
