- If you pickpocket the note from Jessup's inventory or kill him before questioning him about your attackers and loot the note from his corpse, you can read it in your PipBoy´s menu and the quest They Went That-a-Way will be finished even without talking to Jessup. You will get the marker on your map, the following quest and gain the same amount of experience points for this method but you also receive bad karma for pickpocketing and infamy with the Great Khans in case of murdering their small force at Boulder City ruins.
