Haven't run into you before. You probably won't remember me anyway. Don't worry, it won't be a problem for much longer.

— Lopez, Fallout 3.

Lopez is a suicidal resident of Rivet City in Fallout 3..

Background[]

A quiet man born in 2212, Lopez has lived in Rivet City for the past ten years. He originally arrived in the city after his wife and child were killed by raiders. Succumbing to depression, he has idled for the past decade, passing time by reading, praying at the church, and climbing once a day to the top of carrier island and trying to convince himself to jump, ending his life.[1] The depression is compounded by his conviction that nobody cares or even notices him.

Lopez is a quiet 65-year-old man who has lived in the common room for the past 10 years. His wife and child were killed by Raiders, and he came to Rivet City lonely and lost.
