Notes[]

  • The key in his possession opens the model house in Gibson House, Minefield.

Appearances[]

Gibson appears only in Fallout 3.

Behind the scenes[]

Gibson is a reference to Hideo Kojima's video game Snatcher, being found in an identical position to that of the character of the same name in that game, carrying an identical note, and his house containing a small model of itself. In that game, the note refers to the model house, which contains various clues.

Bugs[]

  • Although Gibson is meant to be dead when discovered, he may spawn alive, hysterically fighting radroaches and is hostile towards the player.
  • Gibson's corpse is headless. However, between his legs you will see a head sticking up from the ground. This head is only part of a mutilated torso which is embedded in the floor.
