Junction 15 railway station is a location in Fallout: New Vegas, marking the boundary where the McCullough Range flattens out into the Las Vegas Valley.[1]

Points of interest[]

The railway station is located near a railroad crossing branching off from the highway towards Henderson and the actual railway junction branching towards Vegas and Henderson a little to the north. The building is boarded up and abandoned, with numerous abandoned suitcases and empty Sarsaparilla bottles on the platform. Numerous deathclaws and a few young deathclaws prowl at the foot of the mountains to the south and players should exercise care lest they attract unwanted attention.

Notable loot[]

Appearances[]

The Junction 15 Railway Station appears only in Fallout: New Vegas.

This marks the unofficial spot where the rugged terrain of the Mojave desert flattens out into the New Vegas plains, and is also a good place to situate yourself to if you're following the roads and rail tracks; Long 15 winds up past the farmland to the northwest, while the REPCONN Headquarters is visible to the northeast. You're usually in mortal danger of Deathclaws advancing down the tracks from Quarry Junction though, so be ready to flee if you aren't able to deal with three or four attacking at once. The platform building is sealed up tight."
