Radtoad is a creature in Fallout 76.

Background[]

Main article: Radtoads (Fallout 76)

Twisted by the Appalachian nuclear fallout, the toads of West Virginia got big and vicious. Radtoads use their elongated tongues to ambush prey at a distance, with the multiple working eyes providing excellent peripheral vision. If attacked, they unleash clouds of poison gas from the twisted parotoid glands and send out swarms of their own offspring to harass opponents.<ref>Fallout 76 loading screen hints

Characteristics[]

Main article: Radtoads (Fallout 76)

Radtoads are a hopping nightmare of eyes, trifurcated tongues, and exploding eggs. The best way to deal with them is to stay at a considerable distance and use its low mobility against it. Their low speed also makes them particularly vulnerable to sneak attacks, as they can't locate the attacker as easily as other creatures.
