The nukalurk queen is a creature in Nuka-World.

Background[]

Sitting comfortably at the top of the mirelurk food chain, the queen represents the apex of mutated lobster evolution. Powerful, well armored, and typically accompanied by a swarm of other mirelurks and hatchlings, the queen is a force to be reckoned with. This particular queen has been further twisted by the Quantum waters at the Nuka-Cola bottling plant at Nuka-World, becoming even more tenacious.

Characteristics[]

The queen is a powerhouse, especially before the player acquires weapons that negate its high damage resistance. It's more susceptible to energy weapons, but even with them and DR-reducing legendary effects, it is a challenge. The queen cannot be paralyzed, does not stagger, and cannot, of course, be immobilized or crippled by Dogmeat. The player needs to deal with it directly. Fortunately, the bottling plant offers more than enough cover and vantage point to prevent the giant creature from reaching the player and dealing damage.

Locations[]

  • Nuka-Cola bottling plant: Cleaning out the Quantum pool in the back is a part of liberating the plant - oh, and it does include one of these.
