Fighter jets were the primary tool of air dominance used by the United States Air Force. Their wreckage can be seen in Fallout 3 and Fallout: New Vegas.
Characteristics
The standard jet of the Air Force used a conventional all-metal airframe, with a slim low wing and tricycle landing gear. Six forward-facing machine guns were integrated in the fuselage, with space on the wings for an additional eight rockets or two bombs.[1] Manufactured by Lockreed Industries,[2] this jet fighter was the primary aircraft of the United States Air Force[3] and (in its navalized version, with folding wings) the United States Navy.[4][5]
Locations
