The anthology is stored within a model mini nuke, which emits the sound of an explosion when the yellow caution sign on the front is pressed. Inside the mini nuke is Fallout, Fallout 2, Fallout Tactics: Brotherhood of Steel, Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition (which also contains its add-ons), and Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition (also containing it add-ons). The compilation does not contain Fallout 4, although room was intentionally left inside the mini nuke in order to store it when it will be released.
The Fallout Anthology was released in North America on September 29, 2015 and in Europe on October 2, 2015.
