Derived statistics or secondary statistics in the strict sense are attributes of a character in the
SPECIAL system which are based on (or derived from) the character's primary statistics. More commonly, the term refers to all character attributes which only exist as a function of another value, i.e. character attributes which the player cannot determine or influence directly.
The higher the number, the more actions you can perform in a single V.A.T.S. round.
65 + (AGL x 3)
How much you can carry before you become overencumbered.
150 + (STR x 10)
Chance that a hit will inflict critical damage.
(LCK) x 1%
This amount is subtracted from any damage taken.
Armor worn, Perks, Implants.
Any damage taken is reduced by this percentage. It is applied before
DT. Only a few rare non-player characters use DR.
Perks, Med-X, Slasher, Battle brew
How much special fatigue damage you can take before you are knocked unconscious.
All fire damage you receive is reduced by this percentage.
Armor worn, atomic cocktail
How much damage you can take before you die.
95 + (END x 20) + (Level x 5)
A meter that tells how hungry the player is.
Survival, amount of food consumed
Bonus damage with
(STR x 0.5)
All poison damage you receive is reduced by this percentage.
(END x 5) - 5
How adept your body is at ignoring exposure to
(END x 2) - 2
The reduction of the amount of time taken to reload a weapon.
(AGI - 5) x 10%
How many skill points your character gains per level.
10 + (INT x 0.5)
A meter that tells you how long the player has been awake and when the player needs sleep.
Amount of time slept in a
A meter that will tell you if the player is dehydrated or hydrated.
Survival, amount of water drank
Damage done with fists (damage of
unarmed weapons is added to this value).
