Following the nuclear bombardment of Cranberry Bog, the terrifying scorchbeast queen has emerged from below ground and is trying to flee the region to set up a new nest elsewhere. It's up to the Vault 76 dwellers to stop her in her tracks.

Scorched Earth is a repeatable endgame quest that pits players against the single most powerful creature in the game: The queen scorchbeast of Appalachia. The scorchbeast queen has nearly ten times the health of a regular scorchbeast and half as much resistance to all types of damage, not to mention the usual incredibly annoying ability to fly and quickly change positions. On top of that, it also has cold-based attacks, both directly attacking players and depositing fields of supercooled excretions that deal continuous damage.
The event requires the player to kill the queen and requires substantial preparation and effort to complete successfully. The tooltip says 12 players recommended for a reason, after all.
