The small energy cell (SEC, but simply called energy cell in-game) is a type of small, self-contained energy storage unit, manufactured by Wattz Electronics[1] in Fallout 3.

Characteristics[]

The following section is transcluded from Small energy cell. To modify, please edit the source page.

Produced by Wattz Electronics with a low shelf life,[1] energy cells were used for many things such as energy weapons and regular household appliances.[1] It is a small, self-contained energy storage unit often associated with one-handed energy weapons; a single cell contains three batteries, each with a capacity of 1040.8 volts of direct current.[2]

Gameplay attributes[]

Energy cells in Fallout 3 bear a striking resemblance to 3 regular AA batteries attached to each other.

Energy cells are most commonly found on robots, but merchants also sell them in large amounts. Unfortunately, they sell them for at least 2 caps each, making them quite pricey. If you have a lot of these, you can sell them for large amounts of caps.
