This is a lab coat, not armor! I’m outta here!
”— In combatEnclave technicians are the maintenance personnel of the organization in Fallout 2.
Background[]
Technicians employed by the Enclave are experts in their fields, with a practical understanding few wastelanders can match. They also have a decent grasp of the theoretical basis of their fields, making them the perfect choice for maintaining the many technologies the Enclave uses and staffing facilities requiring an above average ability, including air control towers, mainframes, power facilities, and PoseidoNet communication relays.
Technicians are virtually indistinguishable from other science personnel thanks to their white lab coats. They aren't combatants and rely on soldiers to do the fighting. Their only armament, the laser pistol is good for self-defense only.
