Engineered by a taphouse employee, Buddy is a modified Protectron designed with internal microbrewers, bottling and dispensers for the ultimate automated drinking experience. He also is programmed to tell a wide variety of jokes to keep bar patrons amused.
Buddy can be given various beer recipe holotapes found throughout the Commonwealth and will produce an ice cold variant of the beer for quality assurance.
Although considered a workshop NPC when sent to a settlement, Buddy cannot be commanded like other settlers.
