Dream Crusher is a special perk in Fallout 3.
Effects[]
This perk reduces an enemy's chance to critically hit you by 50%. Having this means you also get a 30% discount at Craterside Supply, and Moira's repair skill becomes 54 (72% condition).
To obtain this perk, talk Moira Brown out of writing the Wasteland Survival Guide. This will negatively impact your karma, prevent you from earning the Survival Expert perk, but does not forfeit the achievement on consoles. To obtain this perk you must start the quest. After this, ask about the guide and how you fit into it. Ask her about the research and tell her she doesn't know what she is doing. After that you must succeed the speech challenge to obtain it.

- Many weapons released in Point Lookout have high critical multipliers, so having this perk becomes very useful when traveling into the swamps.
Bugs[]
In the German version of the game, when you get the perk the game crashes because the German message box translator placed a single % instead of a %%. You can fix this by opening fallout3.esm with an editor like pspad, searching for "DeamcrusherPerkMsg" and changing "50 %" to "50%%"
