Domestication units are a piece of deathclaw headgear that appears in Fallout 3 and its add-on Broken Steel.

Characteristics

It is an advanced form of Enclave technology used to control deathclaws for use as a more vicious attack animal. They are utilized at numerous Enclave outposts dotted throughout the Capital Wasteland. However, the Brotherhood of Steel has developed the deathclaw control scrambler which makes Enclave-controlled deathclaws friendly to the holder and attack its Enclave captors.

Notes

• When examined in V.A.T.S, the domestication unit on top of the deathclaw's head is labeled as "Enclave Mind Control".
