Divert more electrical power to Eric's home is a side quest in Fallout 2. This quest involves diverting power to a house owned by Eric, a ghoul who is constantly surrounded by flies due to being sweaty.

Walkthrough

To complete the quest you need to go to the power plant and talk to the power plant operator. Or if you have enough Science skill, you can do it yourself. If you manage to optimise the entire power grid as well you get an extra 500 XP.

He can either give you Buffout or $150. Since Buffout is worth $50 more than the money, you should probably pick it. He will also advise you to travel to the New California Republic since there is a bigger chance that you can find a GECK there.
