The Commonwealth was once the greatest center for learning on Earth. Now it's best school is one room in a baseball stadium.
”— Nick Valentine, Fallout 4The schoolhouse is a building housed within Diamond City, in 2287.
Background[]
The schoolhouse speaks to the stature of Diamond City as a settlement in the Commonwealth; not only can the city survive and trade, but it can also freely educate its next generation, regardless of family or social status.[1] Mister Zwicky and his teaching assistant Miss Edna teach the children of Diamond City all manners of topics. Being the only school in the Commonwealth, the schoolhouse is considered to be the best education option available in the Commonwealth by default.[2]
Layout[]
The ground floor consists of living quarters, and a stairwell leads up to the classroom. A ladder leads up to the schoolhouse roof.

Notable loot[]
