The desperado cowboy hat is a piece of head wear in Fallout: New Vegas.
Characteristics[]
A black cowboy hat with a large brim, curved to the sides, and a thin white band at the base. It provides a damage threshold of 1 and a +1 bonus to Perception. It can be repaired with other cowboy hats or pre-War hats.
Locations[]
- If you decide to help Ringo fight the Powder Gangers in Goodsprings one of the attacking powder gangers is wearing a Desperado Cowboy hat.
- A Desperado hat can be found on a Dead Mercenary east of the Goodsprings Cemetery, just south east of a Dead Prospector, and just north of the Abandoned shack. Beware of the 5-15 giant radscorpions.
- Meyers wears a Desperado.
- A hat is lying on a table in Mick & Ralph's secret room. It can be picked up and stolen for a small Karma loss.
- They can occasionally be purchased at the Crimson Caravan Company.
- One of the Powder Gangers camped out behind Whittaker Farmstead is wearing a Desperado.
Bugs[]
- When trying to hotkey the desparado cowboy hat, the game will freeze.
