D.B. Technical High School is a location in the Commonwealth.
Background[]
A former downtown technical high school, D.B. is now completely derelict and occupied by a throng of raiders led by Bosco.
Layout[]
The main hall of the school is blockaded by a collapsed ceiling and a door heading south is chained, forcing one to head north through a classroom. A structure in the classroom leads up to the second floor. Past this structure is busted wall containing an audio/visual store room connected to the library, which has a book return terminal inside.
The northeast corner of the school is an auditorium and cafeteria, covered by concrete rubble and rebar. A collapsed floor in the middle of the room leads up to the second floor, and the kitchen to the south contains a cooking station in its storeroom. Adjacent to the cafeteria is the rest of the main hall, which has a stairwell in the east leading up the second floor and access to the rooftop, as well as down into the basement.
The second floor contains several classrooms and has a distinct lack of floors, which make traversing this story slightly more difficult. Most notably, there is a laboratory in the southwest corner, which contains a chemistry station. There is also a hole in the southern most part of the hall that allows one to drop down into the nurse's office and reception area.
The basement is a series of maintenance rooms, with an elevator that goes to the second floor. The basement also holds what used to be the locker room for the swim team; their pool is in the northwest corner of the basement, which is also being used as Bosco's quarters. The north end has a door leading to the generator room, which has a collapsed floor leading into Medical Center Metro.
Notable loot[]
- The "Who Can Stop The Unstoppable Grog-Na-Rok?!" issue of The Unstoppables is located in the basement, on a table in Bosco's room, next to the Fatman.
- The school's mascot head is looted off of Bosco in the basement.
- The DB Tech Varsity Uniform is found on on the second floor of the school, top of a locker at the northern end of the hall. The locker is on the east wall of the hall.
- A Fat Man located on the floor in the school's basemetn towards the back behind a small shelf divider located next to a terminal.
- A mini nuke found at the bottom of a broken shelf in the library
- A fusion core located in Generator Room directly across upon entering.
Appearances[]
D.B. Technical High School appears only in Fallout 4.

- This location is a reference to the Don Bosco Technical High School, an all-boys Roman Catholic secondary school for grades 9 through 12 that was founded for immigrant boys by the Salesians of Don Bosco. Furthermore, both institutions, fictional and real, used the Bears as their sports team mascot, and the main Raider boss antagonist of this location is Bosco.
- The Bears logo is nearly identical to that of the Stormcloaks of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
- Vice Principal Pagliarulo is named after lead designer Emil Pagliarulo, who was a student at the Don Bosco Technical High School.
- This is one of multiple allusions to Emil's childhood. Multiple locations in South Boston are based on his former neighborhood.
