Cottonwood Overlook is a location in Fallout: New Vegas.
Layout[]
Perched above Cottonwood Cove, the overlook was a popular alternative to the ground-level vacation spots, offering stunning views of the Colorado River. During the Great War, a truck containing radioactive waste from San Onofre was redirected here, away from attack targets. It still remains here, perched precariously on the edge of the cliff, surrounded by boarded-up houses and junk. Opening up the truck will wipe out the Legion camp below.[1]
Appearances[]
Cottonwood Overlook appears only in Fallout: New Vegas.

A popular scenic overlook is now an abandoned promontory offering a good view (and sniping position) of the Legion at Cottonwood Cove below. A precariously parked big-rig with its trailer cargo of highly radioactive barrels is teetering on the edge of the north cliff. You can release the barrels, killing everyone in the camp, but only if you wish to incur the fury of Caesar!"
