The construction site is a location in Big MT in 2281.
Background[]
The construction of a new facility was cut short when the Great War hit. Though the construction ceased, construction drones continued to mill around the area, controlled by the construction drone foreman. Some Securitron Mk5s also patrol the entrance, programmed to get rid of intruders.
Layout[]
It has a group of trucks and bulldozers grouped up around an expansive concrete slab; further in there are more bulldozers around a couple of craters and red crystals. In the center, there is a large red crane in the center. A truck with wooden boxes strewn about it, a footlocker in the bed of the truck and a footlocker on one of the concrete slabs is south from the center of construction site.
Notable loot[]
- A Valence radii-accentuator can be found at the very top of the crane arm, sitting on a wooden crate.
- The Sink Upgrade: Water Production holotape can be found at the west side of the construction site, nearby the fallen force field tower.
Related quests[]
Notes[]
- A crazed Mister Handy may also appear, along with the other robots.
Appearances[]
Construction site appears in Fallout: New Vegas add-on Old World Blues.
Behind the scenes[]
If you have the Wild Wasteland trait, a group of intact garden gnomes are set up around the red crystals to look like they were once mining that area. Additionally, there is a grave and a total of 7 of these gnomes, referencing the children's story Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
