Background[]
Cathy is the mother of John, the barber at Cathy & John's Super Salon. She suspects that both Geneva and McDonough are synths after reading Piper Wright's article "The Synthetic Truth", and she claims that even if John would cut McDonough with his razor and see him bleed, he couldn't prove that he wasn't a synth.[1]
