The Camp Forlorn Hope medical center is the main hospital for Camp Forlorn Hope in Fallout: New Vegas.
Background[]
Best described as a chop shop, the tent represents the sorry state of the Camp in 2281. The blood-stained beds and operating room barely qualified for continued use, while the amputated limbs piled up in the disposal cart are mixed in with empty bottles of whiskey the head surgeon, Doctor Alex Richards, needs to get through the working day.
Layout[]
The small tent is packed with medical gear and items. There's a small operating theater off in the corner, near Richards' writing desk and supply lockers, complete with the aforementioned waste cart. The other side contains the wards, where wounded soldiers are placed for treatment. The player can aid them during Restoring Hope, after getting permission from the Doctor.
Notable loot[]
- Nearly all items needed to heal Richards' patients during Restoring Hope are in the tent, except for a super stimpak and three doses of Med-X. The items are not marked as owned as long as the player is working on fixing the soldiers up.
- The Hard-locked locker by the southern wall contains numerous medical drugs, including doses of Hydra, Jet, RadAway, and stimpaks. All items are owned and have to be stolen.
