Cambridge crater is a location in the Commonwealth.
Background[]
This block of Cambridge, Boston was directly struck in the Great War (presumably by a warhead from the Yangtze-31). Shortly after, ghouls settled in the crater, hoping the radiation would keep attackers at bay. Unfortunately, they all went feral over time.[1] Once the Brotherhood of Steel arrived in the Commonwealth, members occasionally hunted the ferals that were drawn to the radiation, for recreation (off the books and at night).[2]
Layout[]
The crater is surrounded by several destroyed buildings and feral ghouls mill about in the radioactive water; the water is severely irradiated, peaking at 23 rads per second in the center.
Notable loot[]
There is a trunk located in the center of the crater, near two military-dressed skeletons.

Cambridge crater appears only in Fallout 4.

This area was previously a city block in Cambridge. Non–Feral Ghouls moved here hoping it would be a safe haven for them. Unfortunately they turned feral over time. Exercise caution, as the ground is steep and the crater is difficult to climb out of and is full of ferals. A single ammo trunk is located close to the center of the crater."
