Caesar's armor is a piece of armor in Fallout: New Vegas.
Characteristics[]
Caesar's personal armor, this set of armor is made up of a fur and red cloth tunic over a red sports jersey (numbered 10)[1], coinciding with the re-purposed football gear theme of Legion armor, and a pair of gray shorts held together with a large leather belt. To match, there are two bracers, tightened with rope, and a pair of caligaes made of cloth. To complete the set, a golden wreath brooch is pinned to the fur tunic.
It provides a damage threshold of 5 as well as a bonus of +5 to Survival and +5 to Speech. It can be repaired with all Caesar's Legion armor variants. This armor will disguise the player as a member of Caesar's Legion, making the NCR and Brotherhood of Steel (and some other factions, depending on the status of certain quests) hostile to the player, regardless of fame.
Locations[]
Caesar at The Fort is the only one wearing this armor. It is obtainable by killing Caesar to loot it or reverse-pickpocketing a higher DT armor onto him, coming back later when he is wearing what was given to him so that this armor is in his pickpocketable inventory.
Notes[]
- Unlike President Kimball's suit, this works as a disguise.
- It is one of the few pieces of apparel to provide a Survival bonus in the game, and the only one available in the base game.
- Notable others are the Park Ranger hat, Sorrows outfit, and the US Army combat armor.
Bugs[]
- Wearing the armor may cause the player's arms and legs to change in skin tone even after the armor is removed.
