The following is based on Fallout Tactics and some details might contradict canon.

The Bren gun is a Big Gun in Fallout Tactics.

Characteristics[]

The Bren gun is actually a Czech design, adopted by the British as the standard LMG of the Commonwealth in 1938. Its exceptional ruggedness, accuracy, and simplicity led to it remaining in service for almost half a century.[1]

However, the weapon doesn't perform as well in the wasteland. Its .303 ammunition doesn't offer more damage than the standard 7.62mm rounds, while the high Strength requirements make it a doubtful choice when the M249 SAW is available.

Locations[]

  • Found on an exploded raider corpse in Great Bend's central trench.
