Bradberton is a town on the outskirts of Nuka-World.

Background[]

Named after John-Caleb Bradberton, this company town was founded in 2060 in order to house Nuka-World employees and cut down on the time it took to commute.[1] It is connected to the highway passing through the area via the Bradberton Overpass. Whether or not the ghouls that infest the town are the former residents and employees doesn't matter; what does matter is how many of them roam the empty streets.

Layout[]

A small, straightforward town to navigate. It's built mostly along the central road passing through it, with the police station and other public buildings in the central square. Most of the buildings that are not boarded up are complete ruined and littered with dirty and debris. A small chapel lies in the west, and down the road, the motel is still open to scavengers, even if there isn't much to scavenge now.

Notable loot[]

  • Rachel's holotape is beside Rachel (now deceased) in the blue building near the public square, east of the police station.

Appearances[]

Bradberton appears only in the Fallout 4 add-on Nuka-World.

Behind the scenes[]

In the southwest there is a ruin of a small house with a Chinese officer sword sticking into a mound of ash in the living room. Behind these ashes is an alter with symbols for the sun and stars. Kindling a fire from the glowing embers produces three stimpaks, and taking the sword produces three more. This is a direct reference to the Dark Souls series, wherein bonfires are used to refill the health of the player character.
