The combat knife is a melee weapon in Fallout 76.

Background

The Bowie knife is a characteristic large-bladed combat and utility knife with a crossguard. The name is derived from Jim Bowie, a 19th century Texan revolutionary and frontiersman, whose legendary - and almost certainly heavily fictionalized - knife fighting skills relied on the use of knives of this particular design.

Characteristics

The Bowie knife is a military grade weapon, obviously an upgrade over the switchblades used by common thugs. The stealth blade modification makes the knife an especially interesting choice for those who focus on melee stealth, but those how prefer to rush while hacking and slashing can get by with just the simple serrated modification.
