Bottlecap mines are explosive weapons that can be found within the Commonwealth, Fallout 4.

Background[]

As wastelanders strived to survive out in the harsh wastes, they have been forced to become clever in order to get out of sticky situations, even it is means using critical supplies. In the case of bottlecap mines, it was discovered that bottlecaps could be used as shrapnel to blast out of an incendiary catalyst, in order to shred nearby enemies.

Characteristics[]

Bottlecap mines are very powerful pieces of ordinance, but this power comes at a cost, as their construction requires a Vault-Tec lunchbox, as well as many valuable crafting components. Once a bottlecap mine has exploded, numerous Bottle caps will be scattered about the immediate area, and can be collected.

Crafting[]

With the Contraptions Workshop add-on, bottlecap mines can be manufactured using a explosives mill as well as the chemistry station.
