Hold it right there! Don't you move! How the hell did you survive that bombardment?

— Boomer guard

Boomer guards are their tribe's acting security force, guarding their territory from outside threats, both perceived and real in Fallout: New Vegas.

Background[]

Living their entire lives at Nellis Air Force Base, the Boomers have grown up hearing overblown cautionary tales about outsiders, considering them only as savages, and leading the faction into a highly xenophobic and zealous culture. Whether the airbase is approached by raiders, or a humble trade caravan, the Boomer guards have no qualms with utilizing their excessive stores of artillery, to rain death upon upon all perceived threats.
