The Boomer flightsuit is a piece of clothing in Fallout: New Vegas.
Characteristics[]
It is a flight jacket worn over a Vault 34 jumpsuit, the jacket has many U.S. military medal ribbons and insignia stitched onto it along with a necklace of spent bullet casings. Patches stitched onto the suit and jumpsuit belong to the 827th Bombardment Squadron, 15th Air Force, Tenth Air Force, 29th Bomb Squadron, and the United States Air Force.
It has the same general shape as the Tunnel Snake outfit from Fallout 3.
Variants[]
Locations[]
Can be obtained in full condition from Pearl after completing Volare!. This also comes with a Boomers helmet.
Related quests[]
Notes[]
- The necklace seems to be made up of .50 MG shells, which is ironic considering this weapon is not used by the Boomers.
- Its also the cal. of the defensive guns used on a B-29, which ties into to the whole flight suit.

Bugs[]
- Strangely, while reloading certain weapons (e.g. any variant of a .357 magnum revolver), the suit causes black shapes to overlap the camera. This is a similar bug to the Chinese stealth armor, in Fallout 3.
- Multiple flightsuits are not properly marked, with a (2) or sorted by condition, in the inventory when in possession of a flightsuit and then obtaining one from Pearl at the completion of Volare!.
