Blue Paradise Vacation Rentals is a location in Fallout: New Vegas, located south of Cottonwood Overlook and Cottonwood Cove.

Layout[]

Once a delightful recreation area on the shores of the Colorado, on the river's flood plain, the increase in the water level has caused the rental cabins to slide into the river. The old shoreline is now submerged together with a tugboat and recreation speedboat. There are three cabins still poking above the surface of the water, with another, closed-off one a short walk to the northwest. Of the cabins, only two sunken beach houses are available for exploration.[1]

There's about a dozen lakelurks spread out across the area. These odd vacationers are far less of a challenge than the fire geckos that dominate the valley to the west.

Notable loot[]

  • 2 Sunset Sarsaparilla star bottle caps: In the sunken beach houses. One is on the ground, near the refrigerator in the middle cabin and the second on a counter top in the other one.
  • BB gun: Central beach house, on the bunk bed behind the dresser.

Appearances[]

Blue Paradise Vacation Rentals appears only in Fallout: New Vegas.

As the Colorado River flood plain has risen, a small cluster of chalets has slowly sunk into the sand, and an old wharf (plus a boat) has vanished completely under water. The place is now overrun by around a dozen Lakelurks, so beware of their sonic attacks as you advance. Aside from the two sealed (and dry) Beach Houses, there are two waterlogged ones to inspect."
