I'd watch that kind of talk if I were you. It is NOT slavery. We take care of these refugees, and they have a good life...better than they would get in the wastes.

Barkus is the administrator of the Servant Allocation Center in Vault City in Fallout 2.

Background[]

A stern official in charge of Servant affairs, Vault City Servant Coordinator Barkus is the go-to person for Servant acquisition, assignment, and all other affairs related to the poor souls forced to exist as Vault City's slaves. Despite putting up a good show, he is quite easily corrupted. The sight of minted coin makes him much more pliable and agreeable, even when it comes to giving up a particularly well qualified Servant candidate.
