A punk with a half-sneer across his face,[1] Badger was once the frontman of a band called There We Smolder. When it fell apart, he came to San Francisco and put his talents in electronics and computers to use, becoming a highly sought-after hacker in the high tech settlement.[2] He's a stubborn fellow with plenty of rough edges, but becomes surprisingly amiable when befriended. Even if he keeps belching in a way that defies the very heavens.[3]
Killing any named tanker vagrants and then talking to Badger (if he doesn't enter combat mode first) will cause him to turn the Shi on the player (a bug causes the Hubologists to remain neutral).
The Shi will corner Badger and execute him if he hacks into their mainframes to divert fuel.
