Published in 2072 by Planned Diversion Programming, Automatron is a top-down action game able to be played on the Pip-Boy 3000 Mark IV.
The main goal of the game is to destroy all of the robots on the screen while avoiding them and mines. Saving the wandering humans by touching them results in bonus points. On consoles, the character sprite moves with the left thumb stick and fires its gun with the right thumb stick; on PC, WSAD controls movement, while the mouse controls the gun.
Location[]
Found in the Fort Hagen hangar on the Rust Devil's gaming terminal. After finding Jezebel's console, head southwest into a room full of generators: the terminal is in the northwest corner of the room.
Behind the scenes[]
Automatron is heavily inspired by the 1982 William's Electronics game, Robotron 2084.
