Atom's champion is a non-hostile feral ghoul reaver found in the Holy Light Monastery in 2277.

Background[]

The reaver is still keeping half a brain in working condition. Curie III sees him as an example of what an ideal apostle should be,[1] even if they have not been chosen by Atom like her own son.[2]

Notes[]

  • Atom's Champion is one of two non-hostile feral ghouls in the monastery, the other being Sun of Atom.
  • Despite being a reaver, he lacks the green "flame" effect that other reavers have.
  • Attempting to engage him in dialog will result in him doing actions instead of speaking. He eventually may also "have a fit", where he waves his hands around in the air.

Appearances[]

Atom's Champion appears only in the Fallout 3 add-on Broken Steel.

Bugs[]

  • Occasionally both feral ghouls found in the area will, in the subtitles, mutter "Glow", and "Ah-tom", except they will not actually say anything.

When a human transcends mortality and straddles the ether, they can be seen to be both living in the "real" and "spiritual" realm. In fact, much of her son's higher functions have disappeared, and only instinct is preventing this confused Glowing One from attacking."
