The AK-112 assault rifle is a small gun in Fallout 2.

Background[]

The following section is transcluded from assault rifle. To modify, please edit the source page.

The AK-112 assault rifle[1] is a military assault rifle from the AK series originating from the USSR. The AK-112 was in service during the early 21st century but was replaced by more modern models. Chambered for the 5mm round, it utilizes a 24-round magazine. The AK-112 was eventually considered aged and was no longer in use prior to the Great War.[1]

Characteristics[]

As the rifle comes into play around the time hunting rifles and automatic shotguns become available, it's largely a trade good, rather than a reliable weapon. Its damage output is smaller per shot than dedicated weapons, its ammunition modifiers are very poor, and it's only good for the occasional burst. Then again, so is the combat shotgun and 10mm submachine gun.
